After taking apart and taking stock of the condition of my newest espresso machine, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s in very rough shape. It’s missing its main switch, which shouldn’t be too hard to replace, and the inside has lots of rust, dirt and scale. The electronics board also has a fused relay. […]
This is my newest project: a Faema Special S87-2 that I found on Craigslist. Looks to be in pretty rough shape and missing some things, but it was super cheap. I hope to turn this into a beautiful, working espresso machine.
