Who I am
Hello, I’m Adam, a Bay Area embedded systems engineer who enjoys growing and cooking interesting food, making great espresso, and working on cars.
I’ve recently started rescuing and restoring neglected commercial espresso machines and have designed my own microcontroller-based board to replace the broken and missing bits of my two group Faema Special. My latest rescue is a Faema Due that I’m restoring as a wedding gift for a friend. I bake croissants, biscotti and sourdough bread on weekends and have been trying my hand at making my own charcuterie.
I’m passionate about food, additive manufacturing, human-computer interaction and how to apply innovation to industrial sectors that have been under served by technology. I strongly believe that technology should be created as a means to serve our humanity and exists to eliminate complexity and simplify our lives.
