I finally decided it was time to give the machine some fresh colors. It was a red color before and I wanted to keep it the same. I ended up selecting a color from the PPG auto finishes catalog that is an Alfa Romeo red. I forget the exact name of the color, but it’s a metalic red with bits of gold and silver in it. It actually came out looking wonderful. I applied a few base coats to get full color coverage and then shot it with 4 coats of clear for some extra durability. The result was pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself. I’m going to try to install it in my kitchen now that it looks presentable…
